...I'm an artoholic. =P
I've always been of an imaginative bent. Was way into sculpting with found materials and writing poetry long ago. Was an honors English major at UNM and have applied myself to fiction and nonfiction. After winning a fiction contest in The Alibi back in 2000, under my nom de plume of Kane S. Latranz I wrote alternative press reviews for the paper for about 4 years, chatting up small press periodicals and books as well as a few comic books, usually but not entirely in the realm of sci-fi, fantasy, dark fantasy, and horror. I've published some fiction, other nonfiction, and poetry in the small press as well as in a few internationally distributed magazines such as Weird Tales and Philosophy Now.
There is this novel/movie that has been in my head in various forms for many years. I've done a fair amount of writing on it and lately am hooked on the idea of depicting it visually and thinking a comparatively sophisticated storyboard that facilitates a heavily illustrated book and/or a comic book as well as an art show. I already am low on space at my little rental house as a result and need either a bigger place or additional work/storage space, although that seems pricier than it once was. Ultimately I dream of a warehouse, actually. Muah ha ha ha ha haaaa! =)
