Studio Broadway Arts and AURAS

Studio Broadway Arts (SBA) is an online membership club and artists collective. It is based in Albuquerque and welcomes artists worldwide. You can join any time! Members can view pictures, build online portfolios, post events, be involved in ongoing discussions, find information on studio space, pay rent, and donate to AURAS.

Albuquerque's Underground Recreational Art Studios is an interactive and inspiring shared studio for students, aspiring artists, and for artists who thrive on the ebb and flow of energies between peoples.

There are five departments, The Lampworking/ Glass Shop, The Commons Studio, The Locking Studio, The Open Private Studios, and The Jam Space/ Showroom. Each of these departments are shared by a handful of people. The prices are fair and the studio has many tools available.

AURAS was created by and for student artists, aspiring artists, and traveling artists. The studio is a home away from home for artists of many genres, including those working in ceramics, painting, welding, glass blowing and glass fusing, jewelry, textiles, photography, digital media, music, suspension, and tattoo. Over the past ten years, SBA has presented art openings, technical workshops, craft shows, slide reviews, musical shows, and CD release parties.

I broke my friend's glass art piece.  Is anyone interested in perhaps repairing it?  It is a dozen science beakers glued (?) together and a few broke...

Studio Broadway has been a home to me, more than once over the years. In that time I developed these knobs at the Studio, for that Studio Broadway will alway's be the birth place of these handmade knobs. Thank you Studio Broadway for being there for me.

Wow our group is getting bigger! Welcome all new members! Glad to have you on our virtual roster of supporters, participants and family. Behold we are on the brink of the new classroom, garden and gallery! Ceramics, Glass and Jewelry Labs are filling up, and a wood shop and painting studio are underway. Anyone with time to volunteer, materials to contribute, ideas to suggest or experiences to share, are greatly appreciated and welcome. You all are very inspiring.
