- Tor grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan and studying Theatre Arts at Kalamazoo College. After dabbling in the Camera Department, he eventually settled on post-production audio as a career in 1993. He cut his teeth in Portland, OR, primarily working on radio advertising. Traveling to the fabled Studio Babelsberg in Germany taught Tor the ins and outs of feature post, as practiced on two continents. In 2002, he co-founded Hear Kitty Studios, and the variety took over: TV promo and advertising, DVD commentary tracks and special features, ADR for TV and film, as well as dialog for animation and video games. Tor takes great pride in his mixing, including the hit Adult Swim animated shows Metalocalypse and Minoriteam and the feature film Adventures of a Teenage Dragonslayer.
