Knæl is an original Texas metal band out of Waco that brings energy and a new sound to a metal scene now occupied in many places by imposters. A blend of old and new metal, Knæl is both epic and heavy, with a constantly improving stage show. Knæl takes a hefty dose of thrash and throws in some blues and psychedelia at various points. If you are tired of unintelligible vocals and unmemorable guitar riffs but still want to bang your head to something heavy then Knæl is for you.

Formed in the minds of Jesi and Cory Mann while they were still in high school in their small country town, Knæl finally came to fruition in August of 2007 as Cory joined Jesi in Waco to attend school. Soon afterwards, bassist Reece Heaton joined and Knæl truly came to life. Actively seeking a drummer, Knæl was introduced to Josh Fernandez in early 2008 and the last piece of Knæl fell into place.

And now, barely a year later, Knæl is positioning itself to bring true metal back to the world.
